we’re wrapping up here at training camp, it’s been 2 weeks of some ups and downs. coming into training camp, i wasn’t sure what to expect but i can definitely say i’ve been wrecked by the Holy Spirit. cold showers, abandonment, living out of a bag, food from a picky eaters point of view, missing my family, bobbing for marshmallows in a bowl full of flour (to win a game) have been a few of the hard parts. i honestly felt as if this camp was unnecessary. but the Lord quickly showed me why we needed this. the Lord revealed things to my entire team that we were all blown away at. my team has become my family, 4 brothers, 11 sisters, 2 of the best squad leads we could ask for & the sweetest mentor, ally. i cannot wait to take on Africa with them. as we prepare for a well over 24 hour travel day, i just want to say thank you. thank you to everyone that got me here. all the donations, all the prayers, have changed my life and i haven’t even been on the field yet. now we’re all trained up & so hungry for more. so excited to take the gospel to anyone and everyone.
One response to “bye training camp!”
Idk you but I wanna say your post made me think of things I thought was unnecessary but reminded me by faith we do the most spontaneous things or just we do what we don’t think we need. It’s the before and after of His ways are higher His thoughts are higher ! I want to be a missionary so thank you for this post ! It gets people ready for the unnecessary that God turns into the necessary
