Let me first say that 45 hours of traveling will in fact make you tired, in case you were wondering. Our first day we got here it was night time we just got a chance to unpack and rest. The second day we got to get to know the city a little better, we broke into groups and were taken into town and had to go to certain places. We had the chance to pray over a mosque, got to meet lots of Swazi people (who are SO friendly), learn some of the Swazi language & connect with my team. We had such a sweet time of worship and the Lord is working on all of us so well. There have been some struggles along the way just with disconnecting and having no distractions from my thoughts but the Lord is definitely working. The third day we broke out into our teams again and were taken to different care-points where we got to hang out with kids all day. it was a day full of love and laughter. To see my whole team evolve to whatever the kids wanted was so humbling. They did incredible. The kids loved my tattoos (sorry nana & pappy) but it was so cool that they were so fascinated with them. Yesterday (Saturday) we got Sabbath and it was a day full of reflection and rest. We also got to go to a swazi pool party and it was so fun. I’m so grateful for the time to love on people who are humbling me. Today we went to church & it was awesome, the Holy Spirit is so evident & the pastor spoke about forgiveness, which was much needed. I would not trade this experience for anything even though i miss my family so much. I get wifi once a week so please don’t think i’m ignoring you haha!
